Pipe Organ
Pipe Organ
The organ of Concert Hall Shizuoka AOI is built by Alfred Kern & Fins inc. of Strasbourg, France. With 41 stops and a total of 2,868 pipes, it has 3 steps of hand keyboard and one section of foot keyboard. The organ case is made of oak, the wood pipe is made of pine, and the metal pipe is made of an alloy of tin and zinc. The 8.5m high and 9.5mwide organ boasts a magnificent feat in an 18m high ceiling. Coupler functions, combination functions, and swell boxes have been adopted to support not only Baroque era works, which play a central role in organ music, but also various music such as romantics. For Concert Hall Shizuoka AOI, which was built as a hall played around classical music, the presence of this organ will expand the world of music.
