Currently, there are many courses for training pianists as soloists in Japan, but there are few training courses for pianists who can ensemble.
Concert Hall Shizuoka AOI has been worried about the current situation, and since 2006 has been holding “Emsemble masterclass forpianists”.
In the course, not only musical and technical guidance, but also lectures from the perspective of music analysis and instrument players, as well as discussions by the tuner to better understand the instrument, so that pianists can approach from multiple angles.
It is a very valuable course that has attracted attention as an unprecedented project in Japan with a rich contents that allows you to learn both practice and theory at the sametime.
